Death by Halitosis question

Another game, another question.

Setting the scene - 4 players, 3 are lvl 9. I'm level 9. During my Looking For Trouble phase I play The Shadow Nose and Potion of Halitosis. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that even though it is an instant kill players can still play Wandering Monster or ...And It's Little Friends. Someone played ...And It's Little Friends. One of the other lvl 9 players then played Transferal Potion to himself.

Here are the questions

1a) Can people still play Wandering Monsters? We ruled Yes

1b) Shadow Nose is Undead are people able to play other Undead? We ruled No

2) Regardless of the outcome of the transferred combat, when it is over do I still get credit for the kill and therefore win the game? I was unsure so since I was the one winning I didn't say yes.

3) If the other player killed the transferred monster do we both get a level and win together? We ruled yes.

4) If the other player loses combat do I still get a level? I guess the ruling of question 2 would answer this.

5) If Friendship Potion was played on the transferred monster do I still get the level and the win? We ruled since combat was won yes I do.

Phew.

Re: Death by Halitosis question

1a) Definitely yes. It's in the FAQ.

1b) They can if they play them before you play the Potion of Halitosis. There's likely not enough time for them to react in time, but you aren't allowed to play both cards simultaneously so somebody really on the ball might just beat the Potion of Halitosis hits the table.

2) Yes, you get the credit for monsters you killed before Transferral Potion is used and you get it just after the transferred combat ends.

3) Yes. This, and the answer to question 2 are confirmed in the FAQ.

4) Yes.

5) Yes. Your combat is over and Friendship Potion only affects the other combat.

Now, there is one more issue:

. . . And Its Little Friends wouldn't be playable as there is no original monster for the Little Friends to have a lower Level than. It's been officially stated that the 'original monster' is one of the ones currently in the combat, not the monster that must be played with the card. It's also been ruled that the monster that is played with the card also has its level restricted to be lower than the 'original monster,' which isn't exactly clear from the text alone.

Ah, I knew I read it somewhere before. In our game I totally forgot about the monster level stipulation. Either way I won but I need to remember that about ...And It's Little Friends.
