Pollymorph Potion
So...........
If I play the Pollymorph Potion card to end a combat with a SINGLE monster Does that it end it all right there? My SO states that the Parrot is still a monster so that some other card can be played. I maintain that the Parrot is not a monster and has FLOWN Away thereby ending the combat entirely. Who is correct? |
Re: Pollymorph Potion
The existing monster has left the combat. There is currently nothing no monster to play monster enhancers or other cards on. However, the other players (or you) could still play "Wandering Monster" and a monster card to add to the combat, which you'd have to fight (and which would benefit from any non monster enhancer combat bonuses already played).

THANK you for the clarification!

Re: Pollymorph Potion
Note that some cards (but not Pollymorph Potion) explicitly state that combat ends as part of their effects. In those cases, combat does indeed end immediately and nobody can play additional cards such as wandering monsters. There are, however, quite a few cards that work in the same vein as Pollymorph Potion, and just because there are no monsters in the combat doesn't mean that combat ends immediately.
