Kneepads of Allure escape and pollymorph by player helping???
I used the kneepads of allure to compel my friends to help me and we would have won except that he used wandering monster to make it so that we would not. I ran away successfully from both monsters but before he started running away he pollymorphed one of the monsters and ran away from the other.
He says I had left the combat so he could pollymorpoh, charm, etc. the monsters and he'd get to keep their treasure for himself. Is this true? I feel like it's arbitrary who runs away first. He had to either use or not use those cards before either of us left the combat. Who leaves when is quite arbitrary. |

Your friend was incorrect. As the main munchkin in the combat, you decide when to run away, and when you decide that, both of you must run away.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if he could do that, which he can't, he wouldn't even get the treasure that was left behind since he ran away from and did not defeat the second monster...?

Also, once Running Away has started, Pollymorph Potion is no longer a legal play.
