Ogre coming to Mac!
 

You may have already heard this news, but we wanted to confirm that Ogre is indeed coming to Mac on Steam! We've had lots of requests for this, and so we're really glad to bring the game to those on Macs who wish to play the game! :)

We'll have more news on this soon, when you can expect it, etc.

So with this impending, I'm looking at migrating my system state from "Windows" (Wine) to Mac. Anybody have any experience with using the Steam Backup/Restore tools to go between platforms? I'll be done with the Campaign in the next day or so and I'd hate to have to do it all over again if I don't have to.

Does completing the campaign unlock something? Why would you "have" to do it again? Or would you just not feel happy until you did? I'd be that way :)

Anyway, I can see this as a FAQ that we need an answer for.

Yes, it unlocks a completion badge and allows direct access to each for a replay. I would still have the badge, since that is in Steam, but game data is not directly shared between computers. The additional wrinkle is whether or not the game data files are compatible between OSes

None have been announced. We are lucky we got it on Mac at all; it was originally PC-only.

I'm still waiting for Linux native, but at least it plays properly under Wine so I'm not SOL.
