Rabbits produce the pellets that need to be "re-eaten" at about the same time every day. It is not precise, but relatively so. What I was suggesting was, that because of this regularity, you could put a pellet catcher on during the time they normally produce good pellets, and take it off during the times they normally produce actual poop. This would allow you to store the pellets they need to eat without them getting mixed in with poop that they shouldn't eat. For this purpose the rabbit doesn't have to drop pellets at precisely the same time everyday, just something general, like "morning", which is what rabbits do.

so, reading through these pages (the email notifications stopped after the first reply on page 2, so i thought everyone lost interest).

up to page four, i've noticed everyone is assuming that, in this world, horses still exist, and the riding hare is an unusual sight. however, what if we assumed that, in this world, horse aren't the usual mount, but the hares? i'm sure generations of domestication will make them less vicious, leaving less mangled riders. i mean, if they were giant vicious furry things that some people could ride, but also the usual horses, would people honestly choose to form a 'bunny express' over a 'pony express'?

anyways, starting on page 4.

edit: finished reading through. the roc discussion was amusing.

i'll see what i can do with dntimm's template. (adding fur and parabolic hearing, of course.)

the image I got was of peaceful riding bunnies, not warbunnies. Horse for war, bunny for mail.

From that picture I had always assumed that the rabbits were normal size and it was the riders where who shrunk.
