Default GURPS WW II More Books?

This is intended as a general question;

Will there be anymore WW II books?

Not when or how many, nor even which ones.
i.e.
A) Is GURPS WW II done?
B) IS GURPS WW II on hold, whether due to limited production time, or more potentially profitable projects ahead of it in the pipeline?
C) Other? A quick description of what "other" is would be nice.

I wouldn't expect full-length supplements. Something on the order of small releases or Pyramid articles, I'd bet.

But I can very, very, very likely be wrong. Is it on the Wishlist?

Not that I can find, which is was why I asked. Europe is fairly well covered, but the Pacific has barely been touched. i.e. no Japan, Australia, China, Burma, or India etc. I am hoping that we will eventually see such publications, I have seen little official mention of WW II since Red Tide came out.

I started this thread in the SJ Games Discussion forum since this was a more general "is this line dead" sort of question. I wasn't sure if that merited a higher ranking than a general GURPS question.

When the WWII forum was deleted and it's posts folded into the general GUTPS forum, I took that as convincing evidence that the line was dead. I think Red Tide was a death spasm, not a sign of resurrection.

Red Tide got a good customer response for a smaller line (252 sales to date), but it was also a manuscript that had been on the burner for a while and just needed to be gotten out of the pipe. A prospective Rising Sun would have to be scratch-built ... and with everything ahead of it on the list, that suggests much later rather than much sooner.

I'm not ready to pronounce the line dead. But unless someone with SJG contradicts me, I think it's in very heavy hibernation.

I think there was a partial manuscript for the Japanese sourcebook. I also think there were plans to fold a planned book on the Flying Tigers into it. What I heard was 6-7 years ago, so who knows how accurate is was and if anything has changed.

Some years ago, Kromm reckoned that someday there would be a GURPS Military. Making that capable of serving as an update book (a la G: Transhuman Space: Changing Times) for the WWII line would seem like a good way of making more from the existing WWII material and making it easier to write more.

There are some relevant items on the e23 wishlist: Supporting Cast, Vehicles and Leaders PDFs, plus obvious potential for Loadouts.

It would make a lot of sense for SJ Games to try a WWII-themed issue of Pyramid v3. But yes, I don't expect any more full-length books either.

Wasn't GURPS Vehicles written like half a freakin' decade ago? And still hasn't been published, because of problems with it? Something might happen to the Japanese book...

edit: I mean a new GURPS Vehicles for 4th Edition.
