And I was so looking forward to the Wookie race and Jedi class in my Munchkin games.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry myself to sleep in my Tauntaun sleeping bag.

So far it's known not to be:
SJG (See above)
Mongoose Publishing (was outbid for it)
Margaret Weiss Productions (Denied it)
Paizo (denied it)
Green Ronin (Chris Pramas says No)
Eden Studios (George Vasilakos Denies it)

It probably isn't:
WotC
Games Workshop

Who I'd Like to see get it:
Fantasy Flight Games
Eden Studios (They did it right with Buffy, Angel, and Army of Darkness!)

Seems the likely one, really.

What about Pinnacle, though, I wonder?

Could be White Wolf, too.

I really doubt Pinnacle, it might be nice, but I don't think they have the funds to do that. (I might be wrong tho)

Fantasy Flight Games seems most likely right now.

Savage Worlds seems like a suitable fit and SW:SW is amusing. FFG is the most likely.

White Wolf is getting out of the tabletop industry for the most part.
They are slowing down their production/release schedule considerably, and are no longer doing print publishing.
Everything will be PDF or POD.
Primary focus will be on the MMO and other digital initiatives.

Fantasy Flight seems most likely. They do excellent jobs with licensed properties.

I'd love a good Arkham-style adventure board game, plus a coffin-box minis wargame like Horus Heresy. Plus the obligatory LCG.

Note that Mongoose's announcement stated that "You have heard of the company" and "it's not known for it's minis lines".

This COULD be FFG. They have a number of games with minis, but they aren't known for making minis.
