Default Aiming with objects like grenades

Can you Aim a grenade? I know grenades do not have an Acc bonus but could a player take 1 or 2 turns and receive 1 or 2 turns of the Aiming Bonus?

Sure can. You'll get +0 in the first second, +1 in the 2nd and +2 in the 3rd. Just like throwing a regular object.

Is there any specific page that says you can use Aim for objects? I read the Aiming rules and you only explains how to use it with Accuracy for the first turn, then +1, then +2. The way it reads it would seem only those weapons with Accuracy can get the Aiming bonus.

as far as i am aware there is no specific page ref but thrown object simply get an accuracy of 0 (zero)

Also on p372 "The sum of Acc and all extra aimed-fire bonuses can never exceed twice the base Acc of the attack."

It seems to imply that Acc 0 weapons don't have aiming bonuses.

I'd have to agree with that. Grenades, rocks, baseballs are all really a matter of skill. Considering how much practice both pitchers and army people do that is how they get good at it.

3.5.7 Since Snap Shot is now eliminated, what would I gain from aiming a weapon with ACC 0?

Without Snap Shot, you don't need to Aim with the kinds of short- ranged weapons that have Acc 0. Just shoot right away. If you must aim, the first second of aiming lets you brace for +1, even if you have Acc 0. But when we wrote the rules, we assumed that most people wouldn't bother to aim Acc 0 weapons, and that these weapons got relatively little out of aiming.

So bracing doesn't count as extra aimed-fire bonuses. Does it? And scopes?

(p372 "The sum of Acc and all extra aimed-fire bonuses can never exceed twice the base Acc of the attack.")

P.364 implies otherwise - it says the x2 Acc is from sighting systems, not from time aiming or from bracing.

Yep, maybe this needs a clarification:

FAQ "If you must aim, the first second of aiming lets you brace for +1, even if you have Acc 0."

p364 "Your combined bonus from all targeting systems cannot exceed the weapon's base Accuracy."

p372 "The sum of Acc and all extra aimed-fire bonuses can never exceed twice the base Acc of the attack."
