Default INWO: Building a deck.

I have the deluxe box set of INWO, it has the rule sheet and talks about one deck, about 45 cards.

Then it talks about two decks (Groups and Plots, I know, different backs)

Is it a combined cards of 45 (25/20/15 groups, 20/2530 plots) or is there one deck that will be 45, and then another deck, that I just can't find the number of cards that should be in there?

Sorry, I played the original Illuminati a while ago and loved it, found a great price on a used box set so thought I would give it a try.

Thank you.

Any suggestions on what would be a good ratio?

I believe I aimed for 20 Groups+Resources. (It's been a while. :)

Have a look at the INWO Deck of the Week archive.
60 odd sample decks, some will include cards from other expansions, but they were an excellent source of ideas at the time (and probably still are)!
Each deck also includes notes on how to play them.

Puuka,

There are LOTS of ways to do decks.

The DOTW is a great resource, as was the Play by Email game that was ran WAY back when. (http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~ralph/inwo/game/game1/game.html)

And yes. Thats me playing in that.

groups deck can be anything from 10-120, but the more you put into this, the less plots you can use to do other things and defend yourself.

Still love INWO..wish I could find more players. :)

Oh hey, it's been 3 months.
Even so - yep it's 45. 20 is (IMO) max for your groups deck.

Also the DotW adress is an ancient one.
The latest is here:
http://www.plasmoids.dk/13th.htm
88 DotWs, IIRC
Cheers
Martin :)

And if you want a set of predesigned decks for a One With Everything set, you can take a look at my Personality Clash...
