Default THS author on History Channel ~

" the first episode of "That's Impossible" -- formerly "Science Impossible" -- on the History Channel will be shown on Tuesday night at 10pm (consult your local listings). The episode concerns "invisibility cloaks," and I know for a fact that I'm in it -- apparently, I appear in the commercial for the episode (I must have said something pithy). " < Jamais Cascio >

Congrats. I've seen Cascio credited on other stuff, here and there. Hopefully, he continues to do well, despite the recession.

( I'm not Jamais Cascio , just pointing out a THS author getting picked up on by the mainstream )

Thanks, Cavolonero, for linking this, and tshiggins, for the encouragement.

I speak and write pretty regularly on TS-relevant topics, and links always go up at my blog Open the Future. Of particular note would be my article "Get Smarter" in the current (July/August 2009) Atlantic Monthly, and the video of the related talk I gave on augmented reality and augmented thinking at the "Mobile Monday" conference in Amsterdam in June.

I second this - read his blog. Quite a few interesting articles in there...
