Epic Exotic in Super Munchkin

Hello everyone!
I want to ask you about Weird Adaptation (Exotic's Epic Feat in Super Munchkin). It reads:

If you lose a Power to a Trap or Bad Stuff, you may look through the discards and claim the first Power of lower Rank that you find to replace it.

Here are the question: what if you CAN'T use the Power you had find? Could you look further or you just have to face that you are looser and let it go?)

Hmmm. I don't have access to my database at the moment, so I'm not sure how many Powers would be unavailable to an Exotic to use. I'll have to look into that later to see if there is really a need to worry about this possible occurrence.

I can think of Class specific ones that the player is not.

There are, at any given time, 3 powers out of 30 that an Exotic couldn't use, one because of being an Exotic. There are 4 more which rely on gender, but unless you're playing a blended and have suffered the Bad Stuff of the Stick Figure, only 2 of those will count.

Regardless, since you have to replace the power you lost, you can't replace the power lost with one you can't lose, so keep going until you find a lower ranked power you can use.
