Dave Arneson hospitalized UPDATE: Failed fortitude save (for real this time)
Apparently he's in the hospital with cancer. And he's not doing too well.
David's cancer has unexpectedly worsened just this week, to the point that he is in the hospital. He is heavily sedated and not doing well. He is not expected to live for more than a couple days, if that long. Very very sad news.

Ah, bummer.
Arneson visited the "Waterloo" game store on Long Island years and years ago. He was demonstrating a new game. Very nice guy as I recall. |

You're right, there seem to be some conflicting stories, for now he is Schrödinger's Dungeonmaster.
