Default List of creatures for every Cabal decan

Just on a lark I thought that every decan should have an iconic creature magically dependent on it.

Agchonion: Sirens
Akhouiy: Fey
Akton: Liches

Anoster: Cthulu type beasts, impossible geometry justified

Belbel: Shades
Bianakith: Titans

Charchnoumis: Werecreatures as is even suggested in the book.

Eneuth: Fire elementals

Ieropael: Earth elementals
Isro: Air elementals
Iudal: Bridge trolls

Kurtael: Vampires

Methiax: Doppelgangors

Nefthada: Succubi, perfection with a cost
Ourae: Clockwork men

Sahu: Giants
Saphathorael: Water elementals

Anyone care to fill in the gaps?

Alath: lotus-eaters, or maenads.

Alleborith: Egregores, other types of living spells

Anatreth: The táltos horse, which can speak, fly, and teleport

Arotosael: shoemaker's gnomes

Nice.
I never thought of the Egregores even though now it seems so obvious.

I'ld never heard of the Hungarian Taltos horse. But that myth fits quite well.

Lotus eaters make a bit more sense to me than maenads.

My first thought for this decan were the gargantuan turtles of the sea that stayed in one place so long they became indistinguisable from natrual islands.

Atrax: Food made me think of Tribbles, and I can't get them out of my head. :)

Buldamech: The real green eyed monsters. Like the mythical wendigo, the g.e.m.s possess people and make them greedy and envious.

Aspidochelon, they're called. There are actually stats for them in GURPS Fantasy (4e), and Fantasy Bestiary (3e).

Well, don't that beat all. I have Fantasy (4e). I guess I have so many books that I forget that some piece of information is actually in one of them let alone know which book.

Axiopheth: D&D's dao would work here both in terms of the Earth-like nature of gravity and mass, and their slaver practices. A medusa, perhaps?

Barsafael: possessor demons, living memes, or creatures that inhabit and/or eat dreams.

For Buldumech, I might also recommend geese that lay golden eggs, or the sheep that gave the Golden Fleece, or Gullinbursti, a boar made of gold from Norse myth. (Cited in Fantasy Bestiary.) Any hoarding creature would do well, though true dragons are not still around in Cabal canon.

Harpax: There are many magical plants, of course. The herecine, described in FB, is your basic "carnivorous plant," while other famous trees like the apples of the Hesperides or the bushes that yield tana tea could do. The kola nuts of the Sirri are also possibilities.

Hephesimereth: fairy tale creatures that don't even exist in the Cabal world, perhaps. (Like dragons.) Permanently invisible creatures, or the shamir worm that can eat through anything, might do.

D&D called those Zaratans.

They were the reason there were so many (non-evil) aquatic orcs around the mainland in my D&D world--a massive archipelago of the turtles (the orcs former homes) decided to dive due to some instinct, and well, orcs gotta live someplace...
