If GURPS were to launch a persistant, ongoing, worldwide (a.k.a. living) campaign, what setting from below would you be most interested in?
Licensed products are not an option for this format. This poll will end 11/27/08.

Dark Supers would be Awesome. Ditto for Infinite Worlds. (voted for Powers).
Dark Supers meaning a setting with superpowers of various kinds, including dark sources such as demonic contracts, magic, vampirism, and such. by the way. Infinite Worlds would be awesome because odd mixes of characters are simply so very interesting (socially interaction and stuff like that.) :) It might help if you defined "Continuing" "Living" more though. I think I know what you mean, but I'm not quite sure.

I think launching such a campaign would be a colossal mistake. It would undermine GURPS claim to be "Anything you want... Any world you can imagine," by enshrining a particular campaign. I'm not real fond of even having Infinite Worlds as official.

I find the idea weird, and I certainly wouldn't participate, but I certainly see THS as the best serious setting written which still has meaningful support. (Hey, it's original and realistic!)
So I vote for it and wish it luck. |

Personally I think GURPS IOU would work the best.
While a Conspiracy game is best fit with the company image, I can only image a head ache heep a living campain of that nature together. Infinite Worlds is in the Basic Set and shows of the system's flexibility, I would not want to be part of any of the 3 major powers. But GURPS IOU show off both the flexability as well as fits the corporate image. as wel as have a board enough flexbility that differ people can meet and part all the time |

Voted for Banestorm, but TS wasn't far behind.

That is a hard one. As much of a Fantasy guy as I am, I don't think I would ever play a Banestorm living campaign. I voted for Space, but I think a modern covert ops would also be cool, but I see that is way down in the rankings.

P.S. Should THS really be considered Sci-Fi? I thought it's Science Fiction . . . |

Er...
What do you see as a difference between 'Sci-Fi' and 'science fiction'? I voted for Transhhuman Space - it's an excellent setting, and I'd love to see more about it. |
