Default waiting...

All this talk of 4th ed, it's frustrating because I'm still waiting! And being in Melbourne, Aus, I'll be waiting for some time *cries*

The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more ca rd
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

Not to rub it in, but...

I just got my copies of Characters and Campaigns today! It's so awesome! I can make a superhero who can shoot a Cone of Illiteracy at people, making them permanently illiterate! (Unless they succeed a check of HT -2.) And if they really fail (by 5 or more), they lose the ability to speak in any language (i.e. they become Mute) for a couple hours.

And all of that can be done with Affliction and several enhancements.

Oh man, this is cool.

:)

I think I've had some teachers with that very same power.

Ok, here is my dilemma. I preordered 4th Deluxe and have been waiting all summer to get my hands on it. Now, later in the summer I find out school starts earlier than I thought it would, two weeks before Labor Day, the 23rd. Now, as soon as I heard this, I knew it would come as soon as I left for school. And what do you know, I was right. So my pretty, wonderful Deluxe came on the 23rd, and is sitting at home waiting for me to get home. Which will be the Labor Day weekend. Knowing it is sitting there waiting...*does a long, anguished primal scream"...well, let's just say I am annoyed...

Neat power! We were very happy when we realized how useful Affliction was...

...that IS rubbing it in. But I understand your excitement, and I'll just have to exercise that most difficult of tasks, patience.

I'm still awaiting my Basic 4.
