TRAVELLER? For example....

So Beth....

Conceivably I could GM a TRAVELLER group this way ?
Maybe a side-story or campaign to the events of my Maggie's Marauders group?

I see this sort of thing done on other forums but I was never sure if it was allowed or encouraged on the SJG forums.

Any advice?

I'll play. I've never played a play by mail and I'd like to. I wouldn't mind GMing but I'd like to play first...

And I second Azinctus. Qoltar, if you run a game, I would like to simply use one of the characters that I have already sent to you (that would be entirely up to you, as the GM, of course). I have never participated in a PBForum game, but I am familiar enough with the concept...

I've never "GM-ed" one before ...so it would be new territory to me too.

Sumner , get back with me ina PM about the Merchant Captain - I just re-discovered a whole bunch of notes related to characters like him.

I'd love to play too. My only GURPS game is on hiatus due to GM burnout. The only problem I'd have is that the only internet is on my flatmate (said GM's) computer. He lets me use it when he's out and is doing something else, but there are naturally times that he wants to use it. That means I can't always guarantee when I'd be able to post. That said, I'd love to participate. I've thought about joining a game over at rpg.net but I'd feel more comfortable here, especially since I've never role-played in this way before.

This sounds very interesting.
I'm interested in the Traveller setting, but I haven't played in that yet.
I haven't played in PBP before, how dedicated one has to be to play in one? (RL you know;)

I would LOVE to join as well. Eventhough I too have never played this way.
At the moment I have no life and can't find a group within my psuedo-agoraphobia's distance, so this would be perfect.
Tell me what to do, and I'll have the work in by tomorrow night. :)

I'd also like to get into your Traveler game. I know in the past my group has had a lot of fun with "gaming between sessions" through e-mail. I imagine this would have a similar flavor. :rolleyes:

I am brand new to pen an paper rpgs and have only played a few times. I started reading about gurps and it seems like it rocks. I would like would like to play also , let me know if it ok for a newb to participate and if so IAM IN.
