I'm sorry for being negligent with posting this weekend; much "real-life stuff" had been to do.
How has the live game been, Barbara? And had everyone else a nice weekend?

It went really well, thanks! All the obsessive planning paid off, not only in that there were fewer blindsides (players doing things I had not anticipated), but that with just the slightest adjustments I could hand it off to another GM (Walton, you listening?) and have it run by nearly anyone. I actually got compliments on the 'captain's log' writing, which I was really pleased with. The demon/antagonist could have used a few more tricks in his toolbox, and may get them for next time.

It was my dearest and oldest friend's very first LARP, and she's still giggling about it.

As with all conventions though I'm glad it's a three day weekend, because I have piles up stuff to unpack and the brainpower of your average zombie to try to do it with.

And as I always say, Real Life (and real people) comes first.

Also, do folks want to try for a chat game on the 23rd, 1pm California time? I don't have any big crisis planned for it...yet...just some characters for you folks to interact with. How's everybody's schedule?

Dark Mistress, is that room still available? If you set it to d6's instead of d10's, I have a way we can figure which one is the check digit (simply establish that it's always the third digit!)

Thanks to the players esp. Sylver for your concern. Actually I was just having a bout of PMS, complicated by a chipped tooth. Should be all better in just a couple of days.

If I'm reading it right, GMT -8 plus one hour for Daylight Savings Times which means I'm actually GMT -7 for another few weeks.

You being at +2 puts you in the same time zone as Johannesburg (non-Daylight time) and Vienna (Daylight Savings time). So am I reading the charts right?

Sounds about right.. As long as we're not longer than 4 hours or so, I should be okay.. At least until school starts.. :-)

Hello everybody,

again I have to apologize for being not able to post during the weekend, I had to look after our daughter while my "wife-to-be" was winning her tennis club's internal mixed tournament.
As it seems, my next weekends (up to the 30th) will be full of activities, too. Because of that I can't say for sure that I'll be able to post on Saturdays and Sundays, but I'll try to.

Concerning the 23rd I'll try to make it, but am not able to promise, either.

The 23rd as a game day works for me. :) And yeah, I was a little confused as to where Nain was on the IC board. I was actually about to post asking for a clarification when I spotted the OOC message.
