Since they will not age for centuries, they could very well believe that they are immortal. Ancient vampires would know differently and would be very careful about how they sent their remaining centuries.
And also, the vampires are still figuring out their condition, they don't understand how it works all that well. Not that many know whether a wooden stake through the heart will kill them because they weren't willing to be staked through the heart to find out.

You could have the morbid swine of a vampire who might infect other people to use as test subjects for this kind of thing, but that is an interesting concept in itself.

Well, Unaging can tie into whatever you want it to tie into, but for a reason that might avoid breaking suspension of disbelief, I was thinking about vampires possessing a way to "repair" DNA through blood consumption by making use of what is available in the blood of closely related species. Closely related, because getting too far removed causes problems (maybe powers, mostly illness, including deformity).

So, why blood? Maybe some other bodily fluids work, but blood works best. Maybe even flesh works, but just not as well... at least for vampires (sets up for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure-style Pillar Men). Or flesh works, but it ends up being more "filling" and vampires need to sample a variety of DNA sources in one feeding, so better a liquid diet where they drain however much blood they need from each victim. Vampire packs are efficient not just in the obvious ways, but because someone you might have to slay anyway means a lot of blood goes to waste. Or maybe it is just psychological; most folks are more willing to be vampires than ghouls.

Again, just spitballing; if it doesn't give you an idea of what to do, maybe it gives you an idea of what not to do. XP
I love the idea of the distinction between vampires and ghouls being primarily psychological. Or flesh containing enough blood (like a steak) that eating and digesting the flesh is a way to get some additional blood from the tissues of the body after being drained normally.

I have no idea how scientific this might be, but maybe there is a photosynthetic quality to the vampires which draws some energy from light, but is perhaps volatile and prone to overloading easily?

And ideas of what not to do are still very valuable.

Well, I would suggest keeping to a scientific (or at least pseudoscientific) version of vampires. You could throw out everything from folklore and fiction and just start with two essentials (afraid of sunlight and consumes blood) and build your vampires from there. You would make them into your own personal take on vampires, which will have the advantage of making them new to your players as well.

Are they visibly vampires? If not, then Enemy should not be part of the template (and an additional Per+2 is also cheaper than three acute sense at +2 and more effective).

The organization in the setting has ways of detecting them, but you have a point.

And I intended for the acute senses to be bought in any combination, but it didn't quite get put up that way.

Both mistakes will be corrected.

Maybe a mistake with the virus design caused the vampire problems e.g. "Delusion: I can only feed from blood"...the vampire could actually eat whatever a human eats but they don't want to, so it amounts to the same thing.

Or Addiction or Uncontrollable Appetite rather than Dependency/Draining.

So my goal has become 150 pts, any ideas for what to spend the last 20 pts on?

Unless Switchable is put on those Fangs and Claws the answer is "Yes". If Switchable is not added there are probably a couple of Unnatural Features.

My main advice is to drop Regrowth. You're spending far to much on it for a tight budget. With the Regeneration in there you're getting the effect of Rapid Healing and lost limbs are extremely unlikely.

I agree. I would replace Regrowth with Unbreakable Bones, which only costs 10 points.
