Default Can you parry a grabbing parry's grab?

I thought like Aggressive Parry / Jam if the parry succeeds then there is no defense against the free attack..

Just noticed on TG30 under Rapid Retraction the bonus says to anything enabled by a parry, including Grabbing Parry.

Does this mean RR now gives a parry boost against Jams/APs too?

I think originally Karate and Judo had something like this but instead of giving a defense against free attacks by weapons that parry your attacks it instead inflicted a strike penalty.

If I recall it was -4 to hit which would be simar to +2 to defend if you were dealing in Deceptive Attack tradeoffs.

I like the idea of defenses against these free attacks. It wouldn't lead to a lot of back and forth if the cumulative -4 to parry is used. Someone will fail soon, especially if you allow deceptive attacks.

If defenses are allowed this could also enable Telegraphic Jams / Grabbing Parries to make it easier to grab or punch a hand for the unskilled.
