As such, you'd expect GDF to have minimal rule changes (as opposed to adaptions). DFRPG, being "Powered by GURPS", will have more changes. (Still, it's not very much.)
Thank you. I never much liked the shield bash rules and even started a thread in which linebackers and weaklings could go head to head on a line of scrimmage and get atypical results based on the rules as written. Too bad the rules streamlining didn't continue the main source of the RPG rules in the first place - but, that's just me. ;)

Will I purchase DFRPG? Probably not. Limited budget plus purchases of other DF series material makes it a non-viable purchase for me. If SJGames were to create "What's new from DFRPG vs GURPS" as a single document/single purchase kind of thing, THAT might be viable, but if it isn't in the same word count as the other PDF's going for $8, then even that wouldn't be a viable alternative in my eyes.

But, for many of you who purchased the product and supported it via kickstarter, I'm glad for you. :)

None of them. This is in the new Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game.

Thanks. Small wonder I can't find it then.

Short answer: it's based on Thrust damage with an additional, easily-looked-up modifier for how far you moved.

Elegant in its simplicity. However, since thr dam in the human range rarely exceeds one die, the Sumo bonus to Slams per die is never very high.

If calculating the "old" collision damage, and using fractions a HP 16 Move 8 guy slamming someone else deals 2d-2 dam. With Sumo at DX+2 that is +2 per die for 2d+2. Sure, that's a charac build really wanting it. But a ST 13 guy with +3 extra HP (not exceeding på 30%) and a sprinting move...not a supernatural character.

(Sorry, going way off topic from anyhing DF related)

16*8/100 = 1.28, which by RAW comes to 1d of damage, plus the sumo bonus becomes 1d+2. The rules for DFRPG gives better damage. Someone with ST 13 and basic move 8 and the sumo bonus does 1d+4 damage in slams. The target gets no bonus.

The target doesn't get the Sumo bonus, but the target does get the velocity bonus. pg 40 says "and add the corresponding “Size” modi er to each die of damage rolled by both sides."

I think the relevant rule changes could fit into a Designers Notes article.
I dont see a need for the equipment changes so it should all fit.
