Default Loren Wiseman

I cut my teeth on D&D way back in the 70's. I played most of the games back then as they came out: T&T, all the TSR games (AD&D, Gamma World, Top Secret, Boot Hill, Gangbusters), Melee/Wizard, Car Wars, and many more. But two games have always held a special place in my heart: Ogre . . . and Traveller.

Loren Wiseman was a cornerstone upon which a lot of Traveller was built. But he was so much more. Even in his later years, long after I had stopped gaming due to the demands of career, family, and Real Life(TM), I still found great pleasure in reading his editorials in the online edition of the Journal of the Traveller's Aid Society. There was so much more than gaming advice contained on those pages; there was life advice.

I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, and for that I am deeply sorry. But I have read his words, and I would encourage any and all of you to consider supporting this Kickstarter, just so you, too, can learn from a truly remarkable man.

Proud sponsor of Ogre KS $4.5k Sheet #3 - Bringing the Vatican Guard, a Tiger-striped mercenary unit, and of course pink GEVs, to a game near you!

Orders may be placed here: including adding the Strategic & Tactical Objectives sheet to your order!
