We would, yes. Breaking street dates gets a big frowny face from this direction, and some manufacturers cut supply to those who release before official street dates. It happens all of the time, yes, but we do not encourage it.

We try and time our own direct sales shipments to not reach buyers before the street date.

Neither esdevium nor leisure games have this showing up on their new release sheets for the week starting the 19th, so it won't be until in the UK until the 28th, at the earliest.

So when do we get a TOC or index? Some sample pages?

Not until staff is back after the start of the year. Our marketing and IT teams had to prioritize and focus on the big stuff before we closed for the year.

As we said, we do not control when distributors release product. All we can do is ship games to the distributors. It is their call how to best proceed for their business.

I have received my pre-order copies today, and holy cow Diskworld RPG is hefty! I knew it was large but it's something different to actually have it in-hand :)

Ok, thought the book was laid out, bibliography set and at least one sample copy printed more than a year ago.

Yes, but the teams that handle the uploads and announcements were swamped with tasks that were more important to our overall business. There's limited time, especially as the year comes to an end, and our staff had to focus on the bigger responsibilities.

My pre-orders arrived today as well - and yes, the Discworld book is a hefty tome. Haven't had time to browse them yet - that's going to have to wait until after dinner - but they look promising from a 'I just barely got them out of the box before posting this and haven't even really opened them up yet' stance.
