Default Spells as Powers (Gizmo)

Greetings,
I am curious if anyone has any experience they would like to share with created Gizmos.
I am considering taking Gizmo 2 (Magical -10%) [9] to represent small magically created objects that don't require constant contact. I wanted to see if anyone had identified anything game or genera (DF) breaking about that idea.

We've used Gizmos a bit, and while you have to enforce the limits on them fairly carefully, they're fine if you do that. Sticking a Power Modifier on them should be OK. Never played DF, but it seems gonzo enough to stand up to them.

I don't know about Gizmos but, my mage-players in DF have switched to Sorcerers. Sorcery is spells as powers. We find it is well balanced, fun & good.

No. I can however put together the spells we have so far & put them in either a document or pdf & email it to you.
