Default [Magic] Changing Q&D Enchantment

I find lower-end enchanted items to be too inexpensive using the default rules. It seems to me that an easy fix would be to scale back the efficiency of quick and dirty enchantment to 10 energy instead of 100, basically making Q&D enchantment cost $9 per point instead of just $1.

But that almost feels too easy. Am I missing any follow-on effects of making such a change? Does the increase in price of powerstones in such an arrangement (add $160 per point of power in the stone, if I'm doing my math right) cause any avalanche of increase in price in other enchantment?
