Default Senseless act of kindness question

If Player 1 uses the SAoK on player 2, who has two items tied for the highest bonus, who decides which item is given?

Player 2 decides.

I assumed so but there is no arguing with some munchkins, thank you for the clarification!

What happens if big item gives Player 2 highest bonus and Player 1 already has big item? Can he play "Senseless act of kindness question" on Player 2?

Nothing about SAOK requires the Item you receive to be usable. However, Big items are weird -- so I think they way I would rule it is that you get the extra Big item but you must IMMEDIATELY get rid of your extra Big item through the usual getting-rid-of-extra-Big-items rules.

I am not establishing a precedent for other situations involving multiple Big items. (So don't start asking me about all of them.) This card is very weird and I'm not 100% sure I'm going to get this ruling, if I'm being honest. For now, however, that's what I'm ruling.

I’ll make a suggestion how ruling might sound to avoid many possible questions in the future.

"In this case you can't use SAOK because of Big item that you already have. You must get rid of your Big item first." Simple :)

Of course, I do not insist on my vision and do not teach you to come up with rules. Just think about this variation.
