Yeah, it seems obvious to me not that I slept on it. Especially since many old myths had them so interchangeable.

Even fairly recent myths: I was raised being told that werewolves turn into vampires when they're buried unless you stake them down.

I got my mythology second hand from Quebec (traditionally Catholic). Catholic dogma on werewolves and vampires (when they still acknowledged them, which was around the settlement of Quebec) was that werewolves were a kind of witch and vampires were demon possessed corpses. Often vampires were possessed because the person was wicked in life and left their corpse vulnerable, or were excommunicated and so couldn't be buried on (protected) church ground... you can see where someone would put two and two together and say a Devil-dealing werewolf would become a vampire.

What I wonder is whether normal humans lose their ability to appreciate art and fashion when a soulless is holding their hand.

Yeah, the idea that artistic sensitivity is somehow related to these weird particles is one of the things that makes no sense in the setting whatsoever....

you can add area effect for +50% which would cover everthing in a 1 yard radius. How long are your arms?

The power as stated extends the lowered mana field to things the user is wearing and holding. Do I need to charge more if that extends to someone else being touched? I'd say yes but how much? You might then be able to add Melee attack to it -30%?

That works fine, as long as you don't go anywhere with higher than normal mana.

If there is any such place (and since there's no indication that unchanged humans can do magic apart from gadgeteering there probably isn't.). The only no mana areas are the areas around soulless and their intact remains.

If this is the case, could you reduce the point cost of the soulless template by giving them an anti-talent?

Probably although it only shows up in that the protagonist is an upperclass woman who is REALLY dependent on her maid to make her clothing choices.

In my early RPG days, I had in my hand a brazillian made RPG book called 'Vampiros Mitológicos' ('Mythologic Vampires'). According to this book, the Greek mythology tells that both Vampires and Werewolves have a common origin from king Lycaon, cursed by Zeus.

In any case, vampires and werewolves can have the same power source ('evil', for example).
