Reign of Steel Paper Miniatures
I found some papercraft miniatures that are almost perfect to represent the robots from Reign of Steel:
XNU-01 Rover and TNU-01 Loader: Robot Maintenance Team XAU-02 Vanguard: Type 18 XAU-03 Juggernaut: Wolverine Battle Tank XAU 04 Vulture: Gyrfalcon or Despoiler XNU-05 Myrmidon: Skelebots XAU-06 Hoplite: Jotun XNU-09 Stalker: Supressor RAU-04 Hovercat: M7 Fast Attack Vehicle TNU-02 Mechanic: Itoyo VNU-01 Robotruck: Prowler VNU-02 Wraith: Reaver This really makes me want to play some adventures using these. Makes for a nice and full tabletop. For the missing robots I'm thinking of mixing and matching pieces. The XNU-01 is tracked, so I can put a re-scaled track of the mule instead of the repair team robot legs. Also, the TAU-04 Bossbot don't have a perfect match, but using parts from the Itoyo and the head from the Command Drone and others, something can be improvised. |

This just seems wrong... surely someone with a 3D printer should be pumping out miniatures made of... steel.

Re: Reign of Steel Paper Miniatures
Well, the bad news is that most of the links that I posted (with the exception of the Skelebots and the Wolverine Battle tank) are dead.
The good news is that all other miniatures that I posted about are free now, on the site of their designer: Genet Models |
