Re: All-State Insurance "Mayhem" adverts
Most of them are nearly unavoidable misfortunes, so a minor word demon with an army of gremlins?

I haven't seen them (being in Canada)... Are they on YouTube anywhere?

Re: All-State Insurance "Mayhem" adverts
Several of them, yes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-Sjl...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFVpa...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CocgD...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSvut...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL9du...eature=channel In game terms, I suspect Mayhem is a Shedite of Fate. The commercials always start with a raspy male voice saying something like "I'm a teenage girl named Becky," which suggests his current host. As an alternate, he could be a Calabite with a variety of vessels -- the short temper and tendency to have things casually break down around him practically defines the Band. (And the "I'm a random windstorm" is especially Calabite; "oops, that tree branch fell! Ain't that a shame.") I'm still going with Fate, though, since what he does is the type of "minor misfortune" that get people seriously ****** off at the world or their fellow man. In the case of the young driver in the final commercial, getting sued for rear-ending a luxury car could even turn out to be a life-changing thing. A second possibility for the Word would be Dark Humor ... for what should be obvious reasons. EDIT: If you go with the first option, by the way, this might be the start of the incident that caused him to Fall from a Kyriotate of Lightning into a Shedite of Fate/Dark Humor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFhM945dXok&NR=1

Re: All-State Insurance "Mayhem" adverts
...so, does this mean that there's an Angel of Allstate working for Marc?

Of course, one of his infernal counterparts, the Demon of Health Insurance, is almost surely a Habbalite of The Game. (All those lovely rules, regulations and hidden loopholes ... all for your own good, of course.)

Insurance is certainly a divine word, but Insurers and/or Actuarial Science are probably infernal ones.

I know it's not Allstate, but the power of free-wheeling association gave me a Cherub... who looks like a gecko with fluffy white wings and a cute little accent.

Re: All-State Insurance "Mayhem" adverts
Surely Alexander Orlov would be a good candidate for an angel in charge of insurance.
