Re: Day 1:OCC
YOU can if you would likw, but you can only take the first level.
It might be wasted points though as you may/maynot have access tot he thigns needed. It might be more appropriate to take Gizmo 5. That costs the same amount of points and gives you access to 5 things you could reasonably have and need per day. |

Re: Day 1:OCC
I've seen a show where someone made a electricity generating windmill out of a car alternator and some wire and wood..IF think something like that would fall under gadgeteer. And the components are readily available

Re: Day 1:OCC
If you guys pick to use gadeteer i will probably just stream line it so it is worth picking up and using. I will probably say If you can find all the stuff, the next game day you can use it.
A lot can happen in one game day and it might take some time for one to pass. |

So to be clear (because this is exactly the kind of thing I want Greg to be able to do) I should (need to) take Gadgeteer to be able to do this kind of thing? |

Re: Day 1:OCC
Yes! you totally can do that! I will make it so that if you put out the effort to find all the stuff and do find all the stuff the next game day you will have it. So that does mean you will need to go looking for everything. you will need to go to locations find everything. Survive the locations get the stuff back to your hide out or where ever you want to set up and if you succeed, the next game day you can have built what ever it is, with in reason. I mean I wont allow you to go get all the stuff for a nuclear power plant and then bam perma power...

Re: Day 1:OCC
Okay sweet.
I think Greg's show business background may end up being kind of broad, if that's okay. Pyrotechnics, set design/construction, prosthetic makeup, animatronics, lighting, etc. Plus he has a PhD in something... Or maybe I'll drop the "Dr." angle? Just make him a guru of all things practical FXs. Proceeding under the assumption that that is okay and that I should take Gadgeteer my character should be up in the next few hours. Are you interested in character sheets for the kids or would you prefer to handle that yourself? |

Re: Day 1:OCC
That is the exact kind of stuff the Mythbuster guys would do....so I wouldn't say it's a stretch.
