Default GURPS Dungeon Action

I neither post often enough to my blog to warrant begin included in the weekly GURPSDay updates nor generally like spamming the forums about random musings or monster stats, but this one I thought people might find worth their while. I decided to release an article on melding Dungeon Fantasy with the Action! line to produce a gaming experience more in line with that of Dungeons and Dragons, or otherwise what you might expect from modern fantasy movies.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy:

Dungeon Action

Great idea, to combine Action and DF. Well written article. I like it.

Very nice!

It's pretty much everything I've been talking about (and doing) for a few years now, distilled into a single page (also a bit more, I'm a bit more streamlined).

I'm definitely appropriating your gear... good stuff.

Excellent! This is not only a good example of a series crossover, but it's a great catalog of how to use my two favorite GM references in GURPS.

You should add yourself. You will only be included if and when you post something. If thats once a year then thats once a year.

In the past, I've used the used vehicle chart in Dungeon Fantasy to add some flavor to buying mounts and pack animals.

I'll get on this, then.

Interesting. I never even thought of that!

You know, that's how this came about. I've been running these rules for years, and back when Pyramid Write Club was a thing, i decided to put them down on paper. I'll be happy if even one person gets some enjoyment out of them.

Yeah - it's easy to do, and right now, there are 89 blogs, of which we extract maybe 35-50 articles per week, with some posting nearly every day, and most posting occasionally. Even my own participation has dwindled recently due to life and stuff. So get on the list and be the 90th blogger!

Working on it. I just need to get the RSS feed stuff set up and I'll send the email.
