Thus, you can use the blower frame for kitbashing, the canvas back can be left off to allow for an open bed cargo unit, or it can be built fully covered.

Highly recommended!
I have purchased a number of these for my PE based factions and can heartily recommend them. They look perfect escorted by a bunch of GEVs and LGEVs!

Which ones are you thinking about? Especially as I want visibly different models for the Combine versions of HGEVs and MGEVs, that means two types of miniatures per unit.

So far I'm leaning towards these by Iron Wind for one side:

MGEV
http://ironwindmetals.com/store/prod...oducts_id=2923

HGEV
http://ironwindmetals.com/store/prod...oducts_id=4126

and these from Brigade for the other:

MGEV

or

HGEV

Hey Drew, as of just this morning, C-in-C updated their website, and they now have three sizes of each of their hovertanks.

[Edited, three sizes, not two.]

I'm torn. I really like Brigade's British faction for PEF proxies...they appear to fit the 'practical, but slightly chunky' look the other units have going on.

For the NAC...I haven't found anything that really has that F-Zero / "World's Fair imagines the Land Speed Record Streamliner of The Future" look to it the way the Gremlin and Raptor do.

Brigade's PacFed faction captures the imagination...I'm left wondering if it wouldn't make decent Nihon proxies. Granted, my knowledge of the faction, its philosophy, its tech related to the other factions, etc is really limited, so I could be off by miles and not even know it.

The only trouble I can see with Brigade Models is they have a lot more grav tanks / hovercraft and wheeled vehicles, than true tracked tanks. I'm partial to the German designs, myself.

Paneuro MGEV:

Paneuro HGEV:

I'm okay with the single gun barrel. I haven't really thought too much about the Combine models yet.

For the HGEV, carve the single barrel off the metal mini, and replace it with two pieces of wire or styrene rod, one mounted on either side of the turret.

For the MGEV, I have looked at merely gluing the missile rack from a plastic MSL tank onto the top of a stock GEV, perhaps only cutting the round mounting pad off the rack, or shortening the overall height of the rack as well.

I test-fitted a MSL turret on a GEV, and it'd work with a bit of trimming. But I think I'd rather use outright proxies, to make special units more distinctive on the tabletop.

I think I just found the chassis for a GEV-MCP:

I haven't bought from them yet, but have been eyeing them, especially for several of the buildings. If you do get something from them, be sure to report on the quality, service, etc.
