No Mark VI card?
I was checking out the new Ogre record cards in Battlefields as well as the sheets from ODE and it seems like virtually every ogre except the Mark VI is covered. Am I missing something or is this the way it was set up?

Re: No Mark VI card?
Battlefields includes only cards for the Ogres in the box.
ODE definitely has a MkVI in the record sheets, but they look different that the current dry-erase cards. http://www.sjgames.com/ogre/products...rec_sheets.pdf Ogre Miniatures hardcover includes a full set of the current-format cards, including a MkVI. |

Oh I missed the Mark VI in the upper right corner on the sheet. Still could've had some Mark VI cards in Battlefields. |

Re: No Mark VI card?
I dare say some will be included with the IGG project, which is the logical place to put them. It doesn't make sense to include cards for something you don't have in the box; it looks like something is missing when you do that (eg, the retail version of the Ogre garage that has a slot for vulcans, but no vulcans in the box).

That would have been easily solved by including Mark VIs and Doppelsoldners in Battlefields. :D |

Re: No Mark VI card?
The latest Ogre minis campaign does not include cards.

Re: No Mark VI card?
I'll have to double-check when I find them tonight, but I'm pretty sure there's a "complete set" in Ogre Minis 2nd, including Mk.VI, Dopple, and even SHVY.
Makes me wonder if there's enough demand out there for that deck of cards to justify printing / selling it separate from the books.

Re: No Mark VI card?
I still think it would be great to have decks of these cards available - 1 of each of all the cards published so far, & multiples of common units, Mk III, Mk 1, SHVY, etc.
Seems to me to be a low cost / low risk add-on - the cards have already been produced - just need to print more. No need for special packaging - shrink or envelope will do. Direct W23 would be fine. I have several of the ODE sheets of record cards, but I like the current record cards much better. I'd love to have some spares to cover loss, damage or accidental Sharpie. I'd pick up several decks at $10-12 per deck of approx 50 cards. |
