Wandering Ghoulfiends
I found this thread, but I just want to clarify.
I'm level 4, my combat strength is, say 10, and I'm fighting a level 4 monster. In wanders the Ghoulfiends, who don't count items/bonuses. Does that mean that I can't count items or bonuses for either monster? Which means I would have to be level 12 to win, which is impossible (except of course for Epic...). With the Ghoulfiends, can you still count one-shots? Could I throw a freezing potion to give me +3, or Baby to knock them down -5? Thanks! |

No; those are Items. You can use Class/Race abilities to give yourself bonuses or negative Monster Enhancers to knock the monsters down.
