The DPRD article gave me a distinctive feel of the artificial island "Stateless" in the Greg Egan novel Distress.

I'm working through all of them, with priority given to the Fantasy issue as that's my upcoming DFRPG jam!

I am still working my way through them, but I'm loving everything I've read so far. Science in Your Fiction was worth the entry price alone, I love well integrated minigames.

Thanks for the feedback! "Putting Science in Your Fiction" was fun to write. As I said elsewhere, "I'm just happy that after more than 25 years of doing my job, I finally got a chance to write about what I did in the 10 years before that." It seems to have been the best-received of my four articles.

I accept that "The Company" is most niche, and of greatest interest to the small group who followed that campaign on my LJ for years (and perhaps to "GURPS Action historians" – an even smaller group). It's likely going to be in fourth place for most people.

In between, whether you like "Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes" or "Tactical Looting" more will depend on your genre preferences, mostly.

I will say that my recurring theme was "different modes of play," which I think scientific research, sports matches, and speed runs all qualify as. "The Company" is definitely the odd one out, being a campaign seed.

They've started adding the KS purchases to W23 as well. Thanks!

On Page 47 of Modern/Action I, the "Mini Cooper" is specified as "Mini Cooper (new)". Should I assume that old or second-hand mini coopers tend to have noticeably worse stats in a somewhat arbitrary fashion, given there's no corresponding "Mini Cooper (old)"?

If you don't know why I said something, please ask. Assumptions are the death of courtesy.

Disappointed in the behaviour I have too-often encountered here.

New Mini Cooper is a BMW model from about 2000 to current. Old Mini Cooper are the models before BMW bought them. At a guess.

It is listed as TL8, so that makes sense. Thanks.

Will all items delivered through Backerkit eventually be added to W23 as well?
