Gathika's double strike knocks the hobgoblin out!

Kinclad suddenly senses that two of his new companions are Weirdness Magnets! He feels sick, realizing that Vic and Bains are just wrong on a metaphysical level...

Gathika resists but makes the overkill anyway, leaving 1 hobgoblin alive for interrogation... Gathika sings to the mindflayer (๑╹ω╹๑ )

Bain comes out of the shadows and commends his friends for the great battle, he also asks them how they feel about the fight (e.g., if they need to rest, especially to Kinclad... who looks ill). As he recovers his arrows, Bain tells Mihrimah to stay alert for ambushers and asks her what her weapon of choice would be, should she pick one.

Perhaps you could learn this impressive attack called “back-stabbing”…
Then he tells her about that time Telrith survived such an impressive attack.

Finally, Bain asks Kinclad about his skills.

Mihrimah takes up position keeping an eye on the stairs down - she can easily glance over her shoulder to check on the barricaded door.

She comments that she knows how to use crowbar in her previous job. So maybe she can use it as a club?

Gathika notes that only two hobgoblins have long bows and quivers. The quivers contain 10 regular arrows each.

Does any of the furniture look valuable?

The furniture is not particularly fancy or well made. At a guess, it's slim pickings.

The elementals find a total of 22 silver coins on the bodies of the hobgoblins. The armor they wear is scavenged metal bits, with such big gaps that they remove the -2 penalty for targeting chinks, all of it from six hobs weighs 270 lbs., and it is worth $630 as scrap metal.

That's what, about 2.5$ a pound?



What's the state on our cart? is Mudlin still responsible for it?

Mudlin left the cart alone during the fight. No-one touched it. Getting it up and down the stairs was a pain. You did not put much in the cart from when you entered this place today to now.

(OC: if you did not pick up any of the goblin's spears back in the beer room, which were 2 lb each. I should mention, four of the hobgoblins you fought just now had a scimitar and a medium shield, both in useful condition.)

Telrith and his elementals will go get the goblin spears and bring them back, and load up the cart with the weapons, shields, and "armor" of their hobgoblin foes.
