Default Petting Zoo and Steed clarification. (please delete if already posted/not allowed)

I recently picked up Petting Zoo and find it awesome, but curious about some details. The rules for steed state they are found in Door decks but the ones in Petting Zoo are from the Treasure deck. Are you still able to treat these as monsters if drawn Face-Up from the Treasure deck? Also, are you able to treat Steeds as Monsters when looking for trouble? Same rules apply about Combat Level and rewards of course.

Steeds appear in both the Door and Treasure decks, the rules line will be updated.

You cannot fight a Treasure Steed, as the only time you receive them face-up is when you've already fought a monster that turn.

You also cannot play a Steed from your hand like a monster.

The idea is that if you Kick Down the Door and find a Steed instead of a monster, you can fight it as if it were a monster.

Thank you so much for the clarification, this was driving me up a wall!
