Martial Arts
When Bruce Lee first became popular, it was often debated
who might win a match between Lee and Muhammad Ali. We tested this with the GURPS martial arts system, and it was no contest. Lee broke the boxers leg almost immediately, and the match was over in seconds. So, here is my challenge. Build GURPS characters based upon the real-life characteristics of Howard Thompson and Steve Jackson, and send them into the arena. Who wins? |

Re: Martial Arts
Andrew wins the Internets.
Also, am I allowed to steal their glasses or not? If I am, it'll be fun seeing who gets lucky first!

Re: Martial Arts
1) It's Asians now if you're referring to people, 2) it is correct for kicking to have a longer reach than punching unless you guys made Ali SM +1 (which he's not), and 3) 4e MA does a very good job of providing goodies for both Eastern and Western martial artists, IMHO.

Good point about the reach of the leg....this was 15 years ago, so I've forgotten all the details. |
