Re: Lies Demons tell the young uns about Heaven
I like the idea of the Heaven Camp in You Are Here. Essentially, demons that may have voived opinions about redeeming are drugged and taken to this place, where all the stereotypes about Heaven are displayed. Novalis is a bubble-gum chewing airhead, Eli makes some of Fleurity's finest seem coherent and Yves is senile. It is all in all a rather splendid place.

Re: Lies Demons tell the young uns about Heaven
ok true...
also while I know demons dont hesitate to lie... I think many might actualy relish, using slightly slanted truth (or in some cases not to slanted) "you'll lose your freedom, creativity is crushed in heaven, you'll become a robot." Vs things that are patently untrue Such as the "redemption destroys the demon then the superior creates a new angel... which they pass of as a redeemed demon" (well I suppose that IS true from a certain point of view.) As that I think creates a certain level of smugness on the demon in questions part... as he can really believe the angels are hypocrites. which I think many demons want to believe. |
