A new cheat sheet/screen?
I have the gurps GM screen, which is a handy reference. But, MA alone added new stuff to the very core mechanics of attacking and defending. I'm sure other books have done things of this nature as well - any new compiled cheat sheets exist for all this? In the light of someone making a grapling chart I considered making one myself but if the work is already done its best not to reinvent the wheel.

Re: A new cheat sheet/screen?
I have made two for combat including (afaik) all the options from MA as well- the link is in my sig below.
I'll probably update them at some point to include the high-tech and low-tech options

Re: A new cheat sheet/screen?
I just found this in GURPS Lite 4e, p. 27, in the section called "Attack Roll" - had never noticed it before...

In GURPS Lite, this rule replaces the Critical Success Table. Instead of rolling on a table where you're likely to get "no additional result" but may be lucky enough to get some sort of special effect, GURPS Lite condenses this rule into a simple "there's no special effect on a critical hit, unless you roll a natural 3, in which case you do max damage."

Re: A new cheat sheet/screen?
besides those found in the martial art book there are some new tables for other roll. like the Awe in the magic book....or was it powers?? (and there some found in the thaumaturgy book) well regardless, is there anyone or someplace that has these avaible. i could tab the page but would ruin the paper.
and off subject is there any free pdf programs out there. i would like to submit something to e23 but i dont have any capable software for the format they have people use. |

Re: A new cheat sheet/screen?
For personal use, you can take your book to a library, university, or copy shop and photocopy pages with interesting tables on them. After that, scissors, some tape, and a new sheet of paper and you can arrange the tables onto a single sheet (or three, however many you need) to be clipped to the GM screen or stuffed in the front of your Basic Set Campaigns :)
Photocopy the finished paste-up job if you want a "pretty" result. Fan-zines have been made with similar technology for decades, and I was assembling cheat-sheets like that even in the 80s (much to the confusion of the librarian, I'm sure).
