That looks surprisingly familiar...

Though one thing I did (though you can't see it here) is to put a small platform with a semi-circle cut out at each opening to make lifting the cards easier.

Yeah, no, I'm not upset in the least; pretty happy my design is liked, actually.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think my idea is terribly original, either - I'm sure if you look up pictures of older Bridge boxes or other card boxes from the 40s or beforehand you'd basically see that design.

I kinda had the idea pretty well thought out in my head before drawing up the schematics for it, so I likely saw something very similar to it at some earlier point in my life.

The nice thing about that design is you can build another box that latches into this box for the inevitable expansions

Hi, i am not making boxes. I just made this one. My first and only.
