Who is the cute goblette?
I was browsing and saw this banner running for Desolation of Blarg: http://secure.sjgames.com/pyramid/ad...PlayToday!.gif
I couldn't see more of her on the overview page http://www.warehouse23.com/products?...=blarg&x=0&y=0 but did notice her featured prominently at http://munchkinccg.game/products/sea...blarg-booster/ in this background image http://munchkinccg.game/site-ccg/ass...y_1600x300.jpg which shows a zoomed-in version of the banner as well as in both the "Air Guitar" and "Fight Song" cards. Is there a list of name for unique recurring NPCs in the munchkin line? Sort of like how MTG has Chandra Nalar? |

That is the Orc Bard. In particular, that is Mike Luckas's version of her as seen in many of the cards in Desolation of Blarg.

Re: Who is the cute goblette?
I guess she looked different in previous versions? Thanks for the answer! Tempting to get a starter set, I used to collect overpower and had some odd yugioh/MTG. Munchkin seems to have around as wide a selection though, rather overwhelming.
I'm not even sure the difference between Munchkin Collectible Card Game and Munchkin since they have separate forums at http://forums.sjgames.com/forumdisplay.php?f=71 This is something you can probably only play in person rather than online, but perhaps simpler/faster too, so easier to get non-roleplayers interestested in roleplaying themes with it. |

Re: Who is the cute goblette?
They're separate games. Munchkin (the non-CCG version) is a more traditional card game for 3 to 6 players, where you deal and draw from common decks and try to kill monsters to get to Level 10 faster than your opponents.

Re: Who is the cute goblette?
Okay so that's what I just tried out at http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/game/demo.html and would be either the basic or foil version (same price!) at http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/game/ ?
It says it includes a rule sheet which I guess is similar to the PDFs at http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/rules/ ? I'm not sure what CCG version refers to... unless it's not one specific thing and might reference the various "Deluxe Sets" and/or "Core Sets" at http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/games/ ? They all look like they operate as stand-alone games, I'd be curious on guidelines on how to combine them, like if you wanted to merge the Marvel set with the X-Men set, TMNT with Conan, Christmas with Nightmare Before Christmas, or TMNT with Wizard of Oz. Would it be as simple as shuffling the decks together? With double the cards, maybe the level limit should be doubled from 10 to 20 so it's a longer game and you can play through the entire deck? Or do people tend to play through and reshuffle decks anyway so bigger decks would just mean fewer reshuffles? |

Plane, I'm going to answer your questions over on the Munchkin forum so we can keep this one specifically about the Collectible Card Game.
