Grok, also in the battle, appears near Duncan and sees the fight between him and a Reptile Man looking a bit better equipped than his brethren. A bunch of hissing and roaring can be heard, and the Giant Reptile Men in the middle are still growing restless.

Alonso, staying near Godfrey, senses a radiant burst of magical energy in two directions, one in the direction of the main battle, and one in the north. The first one he felt from the beginning, but the latter one suddenly pumped Alonso with a sensation unusual to the area like Caithness.

Duncan barely brings his shield up to block the incoming axe blow.

He counters with swing to the neck Skill 14-5 = 9 or less

(3d6=10) miss by 1 hits torso

Damage (1d6+4=7)
The Reptile Man dodges his hit and uses the opportunity to swing his weapon, aiming at Duncan's head. He looks really dedicated into doing this.

(OOC: Defense roll, please)

Regardless, Ezreal tries to find where the arrow came from.
In this mess, it is immensely hard to figure out where it came from. Ezrael's horse, instead of keeping his cool, starts succumbing to pain, and eventually falls on the side. Ezrael manages to dismount in time, but the horse remains lying down. The place where the arrow hit him is bloodied, mixed with a dark liquid.

Hmm... jerks, Ezreal looks for an enemy archer of any flavor.

Ezrael notices a bunch of bowmen in the very back of the formation, although reaching them in order for them to be in normal range and without obstacles in front of Ezrael will be hard.

Duncan tries to bring his shield up to defend but does not do so in time.

Block 13 or less (3d6=16) failed! OUCH!

OOC: is it skull or face? skull has DR: 8 Face has DR 0!

Hmm... Ezreal keeps scanning for an archer apart from them, and readies his bow.

OOC: is it skull or face? skull has DR: 8 Face has DR 0!
(OOC: It's skull) The Reptile Man hits Duncan to the skull, delivering a lot of damage through his armour.

(OOC: In game terms, his axe did 12 damage-8 DR +2 from natural skull DR is 2. It's an attack to the skull so every modifier is at x4 Ergo, 8 damage. Roll HT at to stay conscious. )

Nothing with a bow pops out for a lot of time. Some time later, a couple of them do show themselves, but are 30-40 feet far. It is possible to fire at them, but taking a good steady aim is almost impossible.

"Godfrey! something is a mist. Astaron may have a device of some sort that is controlling the lizardmen, or they themselves are magical which is hard to believe since I never felt anything from Grok. And something has just happened at Brul's Pointe rock at the north!"

Well, I'll fire at one of them straight away.
Skill 15-range*=10/11 roll 8 that might hit, if I mathed right so damage 7 with the wonderful impaling wound.

*From the speed/range table I Get a -4 for 30' and -5 for 45'.

In the distance, you hear a yeowing sound. You manage to do this only a few more times, but with enormous difficulty.

(End of zoom-in. Unless you want to do something more radical, of course)
