Default Deck Construction Tips?

Hello,
I have been playing Munchkin now for about 3 weeks. It has been a blast! My question is about deck construction. So far I have Munchkin Deluxe, Munchkin2,Munchkin3,and all 3 Santa boosters. I have been just adding in the cards as I get a new set (been getting them in order). Tonight the problem I ran into was that it seemed we hardly drew any race/class cards.

Was this just luck of the draw? It was still fun none the less, but I want to keep the game balanced. Any suggestions?

TY

Adding in all the Santa boosters will dilute the Race and Class cards, because those boosters are (intentionally) monster-heavy. That said, yes, it sounds like you had a particularly unlucky shuffle.

This, by the way, is one of the problems the Listening at the Door rule was designed to solve: because you're guaranteed to see two Door cards each turn, you cycle through the Door deck faster, increasing the chance of seeing beneficial cards.

Ohhhh, that's what that's for! I always thought Faster Play Rules was for people who had the attitude of "I'd like to play a card game, but I've got an appointment in 20 minutes, so how can I play faster?!"

I've never tried Listen At The Door. I know there are people who can play Epic Zombpossible Fairy Dustkinomicon in the Demented Dungeons, but if I try to play with more than one add-on/modifier/whatever, my brain explodes.

Great, that's what's all over the convention wall's. Squaty's brains from playing a game of "One of Everycard" deck. Woot! 3,000 plus cards, 8 players, epic rules...

That will fry your brain.

Even as a kid I didn't like the foods on my plate to touch, although I'm intrigued by the possibility of a Zombies + End-of-the-World combo, I might be pursuaded then.
