If were doing something like this for Pyramid - what would folks want in it? Examples with complete explanations would be most helpful. Like:

"Christopher, I'd like lots of new options for Foo, with perhaps some ways on how to use it with Bar."

(And I'm totally copying PK here because it seems the best way to organize crowd-sourced opinions.)

That said, I think that Loadouts: ATE would sell.

A good way to organize might be to produce a loadout or two for each of the ATE character template lenses. So e.g. there would be four Trooper loadouts- one each for Gangster, Marshall, Private Security, and Soldier. Or maybe two each would be better, with one sticking to the basic $500 and the other spending an extra character point or two in gear money and maybe Signature Gear.

Damn. Actually you might need a lot of loadouts. Maybe four? One $500 where they blew money on a cheap gun, one $500 optimized for melee, one $500 with a low-tech muzzle loader or crossbow or other third-rate missile weapon, and the one where you blow a few extra CP on Signature Gear.

But that's mostly where you need a lot of options- the clear combatants like Trooper or Hulk. You probably don't need as many options for Doc or Tech- just one for each lens.

So, at any rate it's probably bigger than a Pyramid article.

I'm not sure if you've seen Seth Myers' "Reasonable Max" parody, but I suspect you'd like it. :)

Mmmm....

So many uses for all those Mechanic, Armoury, and Engineering skills that always languish on the character sheets...

Mmmm... oh yes...

I'd go the Gangster, Marshall, Security, and Soldier route and 200-250$ each, then add in 150-200$ 'upgrades', similar to DF Loadouts.

With 50-100$ "Wastelander Basics" and "Group Basics" setups.

Set those as 'optional' upgrades. Also in case the GM sets a higher starting fund.

And yeah... I'd aim this at being an actually ATE release book rather than a Pyramid.

Hey, I could get behind that. I'll add to to my already long mental list of "cool ideas for ATE3+."
