For my second interview - technically I suppose it's a podcast - I took Sean Punch up on his suggestion during our discussion that the next time we did something like this, he'd like to have some of his fellow creators with him.

I aimed big, and invited Steven , Sean, David, and four of the most prolific contributors to Pyramid Magazine to what would be up to two hours of conversation using Google Hangouts On Air. As before, I provided a list of questions that I'd likely be asking, but also noted that I'd let the discussion go places on its own.

This time, I got ahead of things, and so this post will contain the video link, an uploaded audio file, and the full text transcript of the interview. Thanks to Christopher Rice, who did the transcription, for getting this done in just a few days. And of course, thanks to Andy Vetromile, J Edward Tremlett, and Matt Riggsby for spending time with me on Saturday night!

Very interesting. Thanks to you, Doug for organising and posting this, to all of those who gave their time to give the rest of is a little insight into the processes behind Pyramid, and to Ghostdancer (Christopher) for the transcription (I read that rather than watching or listening, so thanks for doing that.)

My only request: SHARE THIS WIDELY. Not the comment, but the link to the post itself. Maybe because it's 100 min long, maybe Thursday was a bad day to throw it up there, but this one's not gaining the traction I'd hoped.

I would, but I have no where suitable - no twitter, no facebook, no blog, etc.
Maybe it's time to start.

Heck, send up smoke signals. Wave your arms. Email the link to your friends and interested coworkers. Hire genetically engineered parrots to cry out "Ballistic Interviews! Braaawk!"

Whatever it takes.

It would be awesome if you posted a few pictures or screen shots so we could see what these awesome people look like without watching the video (I live in rural nowhere where the broadband doth not come, using glacial cellular internet, so actually watching the video is alas, not happenable)

It is a very fun read though!

Noone mentioned any of my most favorite of favorite articles alas as their favorite, huh

It would be cool sometime to see a list of pyramid articles by author

That would be me, but it's not currently off the ground. I'm got a couple things going on at the moment. Shoot me a email and I'll see what I personally can do for you. :-)

I'm a bit too tall*, too big, and too grumpy looking most of the time, but here's me smiling.

* I'm 6'4" and nearly 400 lbs...so I'm built like brick sh*thouse.
