Adrenal surge (Pain)
How would you model an advantage to add bonus to physical rolls (ST, DX, HT) only during the next turn the character has received some damage?
The danger must be very real to activate the power. You can't just cut yourself with a knive to call for the bonus. Even a hit for one of your friends can't activate your adrenal surge. I have thought of an AA of +4 to ST/DX/HT with following limitations "Only when damaged by real foe -30%" (as in "Emergencies only -30%") plus "Reduced Duration 1/60 -35%" and "Variable: AA bonus can't exceed the damage taken"? I don't know very well how to gauge the "variable" limitation. Maybe -10%? With this build the total cost would be (80+8 (AA)+8 (AA)) * (0.25) = 24 points. Does it seem fair? I am also not very convinced of the "Reduced duration" limitation. Choosing an AA has not a "defined" duration as it is "always on". I should rather use "Maximum duration" limitation. However the minimum duration of "maximum" duration" is 30 seconds and, after that, you can't activate the power after 5 minutes. (Limitations p15). In my build I want the duration to be 1 second. Any ideas will be very welcome!

The limitation you're looking for is "Trigger." Here's some relevant text from Powers:

Hi Aesir25. Thanks for answering. I like your point. I will probably use your build!
