Anyone ever see a Bullpup semi-auto shotgun?
Figured I'd share this here in case anyone wants to try and stat it out in GURPS terms...
Manufactured by the same company/designers as brought the Uzi into the world, we have the IWI TAVOR TS12 Has a bull pup design as indicated, with a rotating ammunition magazine that can hold 5 shells per tube, three tubes total - plus one in the chamber. Magazine capacity drops to 12 shots firing 3" diameter shells instead of 2.5" shells (or was it 2.75"). Semi-automatic fire on the Youtube video looked as though the shooter was easily getting 5 shots per second, maybe 4. Video HERE. Now I'm going to have to find out what the full stats are on this for my next campaign. :) |

Saigas can be converted to bullpup.

Re: Anyone ever see a Bullpup semi-auto shotgun?
Back in 2012, I saw on Chinese-language military websites that the Chinese had limited production of 12-gauge shotguns based on a similar bullpup design to their QBZ-95 assault rifle.
I did a quick search and it seems that this bullpup shotgun has also been made available for civilian import to North America, as the DDI Puma. The action is semiautomatic. Stat wise, I'd imagine it would be similar in damage to the 1d+1 x9 pellets (or 4d+4 slug) damage rubric that is usually in place for GURPS 12 gauge rounds and otherwise similar in ROF to the auto shotgun in Characters and similar Bulk to the QBZ in High Tech. As a side note, I also looked into the Tavor bullpup assault rifle. Interesting design, thanks to OP for the mention. |

However, I believe that only the Saiga bullpup on that list is semiauto? |

I'm not sure if the advantages of a bullpup outweigh the disadvantages for most users. Unless you dismount from a vehicle and really need a full length barrel, the bullpup isn't for you.
