Default helping another player

player A is a dwarf facing a face sucker , he needs help and receives it from player B who is an elf , does the face sucker receive the +6 buff because an elf is helping ?

Yes. The rules say the following about helpers:

Not the same Monster, obviously, but it's an example explaining the general rule, not a hard and fast rule about specific Monsters.
