Hey folks,
GURPS artwork, especially cover art, has always captured my imagination. I'd like to get some higher resolution images if I can, mainly for the purposes of making desktop wallpapers or just viewing them in more detail. I'm guessing these were commissioned paintings either in-house or contracted? Are high resolution scans available anywhere? Thank you! |

Your best bet for finding his-res images of the original artwork is to look up the artist online. I've found many of the images in reasonably high resolution on the artists page, and many of the artists offer copies of their artwork for sale as well.

Some covers are art produced for something else like a novel cover, and SJGames bought the right to reuse if for a GURPS book. The first GURPS Aliens is the one I recall offhand.
But eric's advice above is probably the best bet there too.

The cover is from the Alan Dean Foster novel With Friends Like These.
