Flight: Costs 3 ST and 1 ST per minute to maintain. Subject flies straight forwards at 24 hexes per turn unless they will the spell to end or they spend 1 ST for turn of MA 12 controlled flight. Spell instantly ends safely if the subject would smash into a wall or other figure.

Nice.

It reminds me of how I nerf Speed Movement so it's not a "license to run around behind your foes and get rear attacks" - i.e. it may double your MA, but only for roughly straight movement. I'd want to do that even more badly if its cost to maintain were reduced.

Letting Flight give much extended duration gives you a "some people can fly" game world, even with such a limitation. Various applications include escaping (or chasing down) anyone who can't fly, getting up/down/over cliffs/walls/rivers/chasms that would otherwise be nearly impassable obstacles, being able to get "a bird's eye view" easily anywhere without a ceiling, extra-effective burglary/assassination/spying/sabotage/crime/etc, and whatever else your players can cook up. A wizard can cast the spell on others and send them to do the dirty work, combine it with Invisibility and/or other long-term spells, etc.

Would Remove Thrown Spell become a lot more useful too?

I would leave that as an 'immediate' duration spell.

Best target for RTS is Zombie.

Ah, I kinda meant that if there were more Flight spells and Blur spells and whatnot around, then Remove Thrown Spell would get a lot more use.

Gotcha... yes, I suspect it would. And to Skarg's point, it would be a must-have spell for any wizard-slayer type hero.
